IconToggles Cydia Tweak: Use Springboard Icons As Toggles For Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Location Service Etc

When it comes to convenience features available for iPhone on Cydia, we have plenty of tweaks to look for. The most popular of the tweaks is certainly is SBSettings. Why? Well because it is an all-in-one tweak that gives you the power to toggle features such as wi-fi, bluetooth, location services, brightness and others right from the status bar, thereby ruling out the need to go to the settings app to perform the above mentioned function.
Now one of the latest tweaks on Cydia is IconToggles, which proves to be an interesting alternative to the SBSettings. As the name suggests, the tweak places icons for wi-fi, location, bluetooth, brightness, volume, power off, respring, calling a particular number, create a new message, enter wiggle mode and many more, right on the homescreen which act as toggles. So tapping the respective icon for wi-fi for instance, will simply toggle it on or off..
The tweak is available for $1.99 on the Cydia store but if you have pirate repositories added, you can get the same for free. To download the tweak go to Cydia search section and type in IconToggles (without spaces).
After you have installed the tweak and respringed your device, 16 new icons/toggles will appear on your homescreen that look like this.
As you see in the image above, there is a New Call icon present on the homescreen. This icon lets you dial a set number/contact simply by a tap of your finger. To use the icon, you must enter the contact number under Settings-IconToggles (see image below)
The only thing i didn't like about the tweak is the fact that icons/toggles do not create any notifications and neither do they change color on tapping. So one can only make out if a feature is enabled or disabled by looking at the respective icon appearing in the status bar (bluetooth, wi-fi etc) and the hud display for volume and mute. For me its a worthy alternative to SBSettings at an affordable price.
