Official PayPal Windows Phone App Arrives On MarketPlace: Manage Your PayPal Account Right From Your Windows Phone

Windows Phone OS is sincerely evolving at a really fast pace and now that Windows Phone 8 are out, the emerging platform is going to get a serious thrust. Earlier it was Samsung that launched ATIV S and yesterday Nokia launched Lumia 820 and 920. In short more and more devices are coming to the market in a few months from now we will have better phones as well as better apps.
Coming to point now, all of us must have used PayPal atleast once in our lifetime and many of us, including me, use it on a regular basis for money transactions. PayPal is officially available for both Android and iOS since long but it was not present on Windows MarketPlace, until now.
The Windows Phone official PayPal app is now out and available for free on Windows
MarketPlace. The app is not active globally and will work for a small list of regions only, but we can expect the future versions to cover the absent regions.
Talking about the features of the app now, importantly it gives you control over your account and you can manage the same easily on to go. Sending and receiving money is too simple via this app. (NOTE: Sending is free when Bank or Balance is used as a funding source)
Apart from being able to withdraw money from your PayPal account to a bank account, users can also view the history of transactions made, giving complete information about the payments your received or made.
The most interesting feature which comes as an addition is the Local feature, using which you can find local merchants who are using PayPal Here service and can pay them with PayPal.
Coming to the aesthetics of the app, it looks pretty decent with smooth transitions between different sections. PayPal for Android and iOS are quite complete in all sense but despite that, their respective rating is below 4 stars. Let us see how far the windows phone app goes and how much it is liked by the users.
