Unlike in the earlier times when a person’s personality was only defined by how he behaved, or how he talked, today a major part of one’s personality is reflected by the smart phone he or she uses and how well it has been customized. When we talk about customizing one’s smart phone, one of the most important thing to consider is the wallpaper. On both iOS and Android, you can easily apply any picture or image as the wallpaper of the home and lock screen, but where Android actually stands out is the ability to have live wallpapers.
Android exclusive live wallpapers may eat up a little more battery than normal wallpapers do, but they do look strikingly impressive and have a pleasant effect over the user’s eyes.
iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch users who must have felt deprived of these amazing live wallpapers, now have a superb alternative for their Apple devices but for that you need to jailbreak your device first. After you have a jailbroken device, you need to head to Cydia store and search for LivePapers(Note: Do refresh Cydia to update the Changes section). Gladly it comes for free, which means you should not worry about having to pay a couple of dollars just to try live wallpapers on your Apple device.

2. After you install the tweak and respring your device, look for LivePapers icon on the home screen. The tweak does not have a settings page inside the stock Settings app, so to change the wallpaper or enable/disable live wallpapers, you will have to open LivePapers from the home screen.

3. Under LivePapers app, you will have the stock bubble live wallpaper along with the default wallpaper and a few other options. You can scroll horizontally to switch to a particular wallpaper or no wallpaper (a black screen) or a solid color wallpaper (whose color is adjustable). To apply the live wallpaper to home & lock screen or one of the two, you can tap on the two buttons, Home and Lock, present on the top left corner. In the image below I applied the live wallpaper to both the home and lock screen which is why both the respective buttons have a checked badge.
4. Important thing to know is that by default you only get one live wallpaper, which is the bubble one, and if you wish to apply the Nexus live wallpaper, you will have to buy the same from Cydia store. Although the only free live wallpaper available cannot be configured, if you download the Nexus live wallpaper, which is a paid add-on, you will have complete power to configure it – which includes strip width, length, speed, tolerance and count.
The tweak works really well on all Apple devices and does not affect the performance of the device. Moreover it does not have any negative effect over the battery, which definitely works in its favor. So for me it is a great tweak to look forward to and you must try it.
