KK Launcher Is An Android KitKat Based Home Replacement App

While users who own the most exclusive Android devices available in the market are waiting for the Android KitKat a.k.a Android 4.4 update, there are several great devices which are even deprived of Android JellyBean, so for these the latest version of Android is certainly not in the picture.

kkappteam, a member of the xda forum, has released KK Launcher, which is claimed to be the most highly customizable home replacement app based on the original Android KitKat launcher. The launcher is said to be neat, smooth, rich in features, features no ads, and gladly, is available for free. KK Launcher works on all devices running Android 4.0 and up and comes with icon theme support, Nova launcher, ADW, GO, Apex launcher theme support, drawer app hiding feature, a translucent status bar etc.

The launcher comes with original Nexus 5 HD wallpapers and allows easy access to Google Now from the home screen with a swipe on the right. Other customization options are as follows:

• Set desktop grid
• Set drawer grid
• Set icon size
• Set icon text size
• Hide icon text
• Max rows and columns of a folder
• Number of dock icons
• Dock icon size
• Hide search bar
• Set default Home Screen to Left, Middle or Right
• Enable/Disable wallpaper scrolling
• Background transparent

The developer has also promised to bring even more customization features in future updates.
