Remember, a while back, there was a viral post about a couple of hidden features that one of the reputed developers was able to get access to? These features are a part of iOS 7 but users have been deprived of the same solely because they are not meant for majority of us. But if you can get access to these features and know what you are doing, you could enhance your experience as far as the usage is concerned.
Now that the iOS 7 jailbreak - Evasi0n 7 has been released for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, interestingly, developers have found a way to give all users access to these hidden Springboard settings. The process does not take much time and once you are done with it you would love playing around with the settings.
To enable the hidden Springboard settings on iOS 7, follow the guide given below:
Step 1: Once you have jailbroken your device, launch Cydia and tap on “Manage” (second option from the right at the bottom of the Cydia homescreen)
Step 2: Now we need to add two repositories. For that tap on “Sources”, and then tap on “Edit” – will be present on the top right of the screen.
Step 3: Tap on “Add” and individually add the following repositories:
Step 5: Once the phone has booted up again head to Cydia and this time tap on the Cydiahacks repository and install the “Hidden SBSettings For iOS 7” package. And then Respring your device.

The hidden features are now accessible to you. Simply swipe up on the screen to bring in Control Center and tap on Springboard Settings. You can now enjoy all the hidden features and play with them.

It doesnot work on my ipad mini
ReplyDeleteDid you follow the procedure correctly? Did you try rebooting your iPad Mini and see if it works? You have to make sure you reboot after installing Bootstrap.
DeleteI can confirm the problem. Has it been shown to work on the iPad mini?
DeleteNote: The listed repositories seem to be having issues. I believe cydia has been updated to include both bootstrap and SBsettings for iOS7 in their standard repositories.
He is right, it does not work on Ipad Mini.
ReplyDeleteYou can try HiddenSettings7. It is available for free and is an alternative to the HiddenSBSettings for iOS 7.
