DisplayCandy Cydia Tweaks Adds Animations To Opening, Closing And Switching Of Apps

There are several Cydia tweaks that add the so called ‘animations’ to several actions. If you want to add unlock animations Unfold cydia tweak is a great tweak to go for, while if you want to have animations when switching between apps running in background, Jepit is a brilliant tweak. But what if you want to have animations not only when switching between apps but for opening and closing as well.
Well for that we have DisplayCandy, a new tweak that animates opening, closing and switching of apps. Unlike other tweaks that do not have the option to set animation length, DisplayCandy does have dedicated sliders with which you can increase the time for which the animations will appear.
The app is available for $2.00 on Cydia store but you do have the option to get it for free if you have pirated repositories added. To download the app, go to Cydia search and enter DisplayCandy (without spaces).

Once you download the tweak and respring your device, the tweak will get enabled instantly and to make changes such as adjusting animation time and choosing the type of animation, you will have to look for the app under stock Settings.
Under DisplayCandy settings you have the enable/disable toggle and three section: Launch, Close and Switch.
Under each section you can choose the type of animation from under Animation. If the animation is further configurable, the greyed options will automatically unlock to let you choose the direction of animation. If you use the slider under each section, you can even increase the time for which the animation will run.
Animation list includes Cube, Flip, Page Curl, Page Uncurl, Camera Iris, Cover, Reveal, TV Tube, Fade and many others.

I tested almost all the animations and all of them ran smoothly. Having said that, increasing the time of animation could sometimes make the tweak become laggy. But overall the tweak works brilliantly and I simply love it.
