Official Google Youtube App For iPhone And iPod Touch Running iOS 6

If you have even the least bit of information about the upcoming iOS version from Apple, the iOS 6, you would be well familiar with the fact that there will be no native Youtube app on the latest iOS version. This was officially announced by Apple a while back and people were quite disappointed by this news as they know if there is no official Youtube app, they will have to rely on third party apps which will not have the real feel of Youtube.
But shortly after the announcement made by Apple, Google promised that for the upcoming iOS 6 it will bring an all new Youtube app. While we are still waiting for the launch of iOS 6, Google has kept its promise and silently launched the official Youtube app for iPhone and iPod Touch owners.
The next important feature is the autocomplete search wherein while you are entering a keyword(s), the Youtube app will display related searches. So definitely it would save some time of Youtube users who often search for new content. The search section also has the well known voice command feature with which you can search for videos by using audible commands.
Remarkable improvements have also been made when it comes to subscribe feature. Now subscribing to channels is too easy and users can even comment on videos. As far as video options are concerned, Google gives freedom to users as they can switch subtitles on and off, and also share the video to social networking websites such as Twitter, Facebook and Google+.
The overall interface is very clean and similar to Facebook. Moving through videos is now faster and the response time is simply impressive.
If there is anything I am concerned about then it has to be the app’s features. What I am trying to say is that Google hasn’t brought any major changes and except for the design you would not find anything that would thrill you. I was expecting Google to think out of the box and bring a Youtube app with some unseen features. But otherwise the app is brilliant, refreshing and faster.
