Apple always impresses me with the new applications it introduces with each iOS update. No doubt these applications benefit millions of iPhone and iPad users, but at the same time they are useless for many.
Now we know that more and more people are switching to iOS 6, which is yet to get an untethered jailbreak, and some new iPhone users will also be disliking these unwanted apps. One of the prominent developers called Rag3Hack has taken this problem seriously and has introduced a browser based hack which hides any stock/system iPhone icon without jailbreak. Since it is browser based (will work via Safari), you will not have to connect your device to the computer and the procedure only takes a minute or two.

NOTE: The icons that you will hide will remain hidden temporarily. On restarting your device all icons will be brought to the original state.

3. A list of all the existing system applications will be produced. Whichever app you wish to hide, find its name and tap on it.


4. When you tap a confirmation window will appear asking you to install a new certificate, where you need to confirm it.

5. The browser will immediately close and a new icon will appear on the home screen whose installation will fail. When asked for Done or Retry, press DONE.

6. To confirm, now long press any icon to enter jiggle mode. You will notice that the targeted app icon is now blank, and Hide word has been added to its name. Now you may delete the icon to hide the icon from the home screen.
The hack works for both iOS 5.x and iOS 6. You must remember that the icons will come to their original state once you reboot your device. So if you are using this tweak make sure you do not reboot.
