Contacts are one of the most important forms of data present on your smartphone and it does influence a person’s decision when he or she is about to switch to a new smartphone, as all those contacts will have to be moved to the new device. Talking in context of the iPhone, some of the best methods to backup your contacts include - creating a CSV file, uploading the contacts to Google Contacts, etc.
These are some of the effective ways to transfer ALL your contacts to a different device in a single go, but what about individual contacts? Say for example, you are with your friends and one of them asks for a person’s contact number which is present on your iPhone. Your immediate action would be to take out your iPhone, open the Contacts app, look for the asked contact, and read out the number.
In the age of smartphones, this conventional method would seem irrelevant as now you can share a contact with a person using qr codes. So today I bring you an app that makes sharing individual contacts extremely convenient.
Developed by Bravemount, the name of the application is QContacts and is available for both iOS and Android (download links at the bottom of the post).

To share a contact all one needs to do is point the qr reader viewfinder from his or her smartphone on the contact’s qr code and its almost done.

If one wishes to grab a contact on your iPhone from another device, you can tap on the camera icon (present on the top right corner) and the qr reader will show up. One can also search for a contact using the search button, in the QContacts app itself.
To me the app’s interface seems really simple and very convenient to use. Moreover it is blazingly fast, and makes contact sharing more of a cool thing.
