Qualcomm Toq smartwatch To Cost $349.99; Coming On December 2

Two months back, Qualcomm made the official announcement for Toq smartwatch and presented it to the media, however, it did not disclose any information on when the smartwatch will be launched. For those of you who are awaiting this Qualcomm product, you would be happy to know that the Qualcomm Toq is will be available within the next few days.
Qualcomm will officially put the Toq on sale on Monday, December 2, and has priced it at $349.99. The smartwatch packs Qualcomm’s Mirasol display technology which, as per company’s claims, makes the watch readable even in direct sunlight and at the same time offers outstanding battery life of multiple days. The watch is compatible with any device running Android 4.0.3 or higher. It also includes support for Qualcomm WiPower LE wireless charging technology.
Qualcomm Toq is capable of displaying text messages, app notifications, and also allows the user to accept or reject voice calls. The OS of the app comes with integrated stock and weather apps from E-Trade and AccuWeather respectively. Qualcomm has promised it will bring even more features in future updates, though it hasn’t disclosed what those new features would be.
This is an interesting product considering the stir that currently is in the market. Apple, Google, HTC, Samsung and other major smartphone manufacturers are all either working on their smartwatches or have already injected them in the market. The Toq smartwatch is a limited edition product with an intention to showcase Qualcomm’s technology and is not meant to take over the market.
