This is the holiday period and apparently every company existing on this planet is trying to squeeze out as many deals as they possibly can to add new customers to their lists. Smartphone manufacturers are leaving no stone unturned this festive season and have a number of convincing deals for buyers.
Microsoft, the company behind the Windows Phone OS which is still considered to be new in the market, has come up with an interesting offer for Windows Phone owners. Since it is the Christmas and New Year time, users will be clicking plenty of pictures and capturing videos of their loved ones and uploading them to SkyDrive which, by default, offers 7 GB of storage space.
Microsoft knows it well and is offering 20 GB of free SkyDrive storage for the next one year. Users are going to receive an email which includes a link to the page where they will be able to redeem this offer from. The offer is valid till 31st January 2014, so if you have not checked your Microsoft email account yet, go ahead and do the same to avail the extra 20 GB of SkyDrive space.
Once the free period, which is 12 months for this offer, is over, expectedly, users will have to pay monthly charges for the extra 20GB of space they will be using or they might have to buy one of the available storage plans.
