Apply Themes On iOS 7 With Updated Winterboard: Supports iPhone 5S

For all those of you who have been eagerly waiting to try Winterboard on iOS 7 should be glad to hear that the same has been updated to support the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system.

Jay Freeman, a.k.a saurik has recently updated Winterboard and it now supports iOS 7 as well as iPhone 5S’ 64-bit processor. Although Winterboard 0.9.3912 does support iOS 7, saurik has confirmed that Wallpapers are not supported. He said all wallpaper formats including png, html and others are not supported on iOS 7 but fixes are on their way and users need to be patient.

Along with iOS 7 and iPhone 5S support, Winterboard gets a new iOS 7-style icon and a redesigned, flat user interface.

Earlier saurik said that Winterboard will probably not see an update unless the theming community starts contributing for iOS 7, but gladly thinks worked in our favour.

Now that Winterboard has been updated for iOS 7 you can try customizing the look of your Apple device but remember most of themes are not compatible as of yet and it would take some time before their updates arrive.

On the contrary some themes are compatible out of the box. I myself tried Space BlueBerry and it worked without any flaws. It is a nice theme and available for free.
