Customize iOS 7 Control Center, Add Themes To Toggles: CCControls Cydia Tweak

With some really interesting tweaks emerging on Cydia I have started loving iOS 7. First it was FlipControlCenter, followed by ControlTask, CCSettings, TransparentDock and the latest, customLS, all proved to be utterly useful in customizing as well as enhancing the look of iOS 7.

Next up we have CCControls, which I believe is an enhanced version of FlipControlCenter and CCSettings. The tweak not only adds new toggles and allows you to arrange them in the order of your preference, like the other two tweaks, but it also enables you to apply themes on the added toggles. It is available on Cydia for free from BigBoss repository.

To download the tweak, launch Cydia and search CCControls. Or you may also scroll down through the tweaks listed in the Changes section. If you do not see the tweak it is very likely that you need to Refresh the Changes section – you can do so by hitting the Refresh button present on the top left under the Changes tab.

Once the package has been installed, respring your device and open the stock Settings app to configure CCControls. The settings page of the tweak has three main sections: Theme, Lock Screen Restrictions and Controls Per Page. If you scroll down on the same page you will see all the toggles which you can drag and arrange as per your preference.

The Theme section contains, of course, the themes that you can apply to the toggles. There are plenty of combinations including filled circle, iOS 7 style and square shaped which one can try. To apply a theme simply tap on it.

Coming back to the main settings page, the Lock Screen Restriction contains a list of the toggles and you can restrict them from being launched directly from the lock screen. To use this feature Enable it first using the toggle and then tap-select the toggles you wish to restrict. The Controls Per Page tab allows you to select the number of toggles you wish to show on one page.

In my opinion it is a nice tweak that works well most of the time, though I experienced some performance issues at times. Other than that I would personally recommend CCControls as it does the job in a funky way.
