Android-Like Phone App Swipe Gestures On iOS 7 With QuickGestures2

One cannot deny the fact that Android is a just as powerful as Apple’s iOS, not as stable and secure as the latter though. Also it is way more customizable than iOS in the stock state. Both the mobile operating systems in question have their strong points, for instance the iOS has the tap-to-bring-to-top feature where the user taps once on the statusbar to move to the very top of a page.
This very feature is absent in Android and it does annoy me when I am way down a page and want to go back to the top. Likewise, some of the popular OEMs have customized Android’s Phone app in such a way that simple right and left swipes let you call or text a contact. The swipe gesture feature comes in very handy at times when you quickly want to call or create a text message.
The reason why I mentioned this feature here is because if you like the same, you can get it on your Apple device running iOS 7. QuickGestures2 is a new tweak that adds the swipe functionality to iOS 7’s Contacts, Phone and Messages app, letting users call or text friends and family using simple swipes.
Once done, open the stock Settings app and access QuickGestures2’s settings page. Enable the tweak if is not, using the toggle given on top. Next, you have to configure the swipe-actions as per your requirement. Enable both Rightswipe and Leftswipe and select the action to be taken. You can use both type of gestures for making Voice calls, creating SMS/iMessage, E-mail or Facetime calls.
Along with the action you can also choose the color of the buttons that show up when you use the gestures on any of the supported apps. Also there is a long-hold feature which can be used for creating an email.
When done with the configuration you must restart the Phone, Contacts and Messages app in case they are open in the background. Terminate these apps and on the next launch you will be able to use the swipe features (look at the first two images for help).
It is a great tweak for those who make frequent calls and find themselves struggling with the contacts app. I have to say the integration of the tweak is fantastic and it does not affect the performance of any of the apps. The price could be a bit of a letdown for users but it is a great effort nevertheless and you should buy it.

How To Use QuickGestures2 On iOS 7
First and foremost you must buy the tweak from Cydia. It is available for $0.99 and is hosted on BigBoss repo. Install the package and respring your device. When done with the configuration you must restart the Phone, Contacts and Messages app in case they are open in the background.
