Tweaks, tweaks and more tweaks, that is all we are looking at now a days. While there are plenty of tweaks that offer to-the-point features like AirDrop Enabler iOS 7.0+ and FlipControlCenter, some tweaks offer more than what you just see on the screen.
Facebook and Twitter are the most used social networking sites and there is no reason why one should be deprived from them. Apple’s iOS 6 had a nice stock feature of composing Twitter and Facebook posts from the Notification Center. The integration has evolved on iOS 7 and it now adds Flickr and Vimeo too which is a good thing of course.
But the question is, now that we have a very handy page of features called the Control Center on iOS 7, why Apple did not bother to integrate the compose buttons in the Control Center? It could have been a great addition, offering even more convenience to the end user when composing a Tweet or a post for Facebook.
For those of you who want Twitter and Facebook compose buttons in the Control Center, here is a small guide to that requires a little effort from your end but would definitely get the job done.

How To Get Facebook, Twitter Compose Buttons In iOS 7 Control Center
Requirements: Jailbroken device, CCToggles tweak. (Follow this guide to jailbreak your Apple device running iOS 7)
- To get the dedicated buttons we need to download a tweak called CCToggles from Cydia first. It is available for free and is hosted on BigBoss repo. So the first step is to install CCToggles and respring your device.
- Now open the stock Settings app and go to CCToggles’ settings page. On that page tap on QuickLaunches and on the next page again tap on QuickLaunches.
- Under the QuickLaunches section scroll down to the bottom and locate the button saying ‘Add Activator’. Tap on the same and you would see a new entry in the list above named Undefined Activator (take a look at the image above).
- Tap on Undefined Activator and you will see a list of options. Scroll downward till you see the SHARING section that contains Compose Facebook Post and Compose Tweet options. Tap on any of the two and ensure it is checked.
- Head back to the previous page, yes the same page where you had the Add Activator option. You would see Compose Facebook Post or Compose Tweet entry (whichever you selected on the last page) in the list and you need to bring it towards the top. To do so tap on ‘Edit’ and drag it to the top of the list.
- Launch the Control Center now and take a look at the QuickLaunches section (present at the bottom). You should see the Facebook/Twitter compose button there (take a look at the first image of this post). Tap on the button and you will now be able to tweet/post without any hassles.
