Get A Dark Keyboard On iOS 7 With Bloard Cydia Tweak

One of the major complaints users have with iOS 7 is the stock keyboard which is extremely light in colour and it does put some strain when chatting or texting a friend in low light conditions as we are used to iOS 6’s keyboard.
Recently Apple added a dark keyboard option in iOS 7.1 beta, pointing at what could come as a new option in the public release of iOS 7. But with the release of iOS 7.1 beta 2, Apple removed that feature making it difficult to conclude whether there would be an option to switch the keyboard theme or not, in the upcoming iOS version.
Good to know that users who are not happy with iOS 7’s stock light keyboard can now get a dark keyboard. Cydia has been updated with a new tweak called Bloard which replaces the stock keyboard with a new darker keyboard which is much nicer to the eyes. It is available for free and is hosted on BigBoss repo.
That is it, you are done now and the stock keyboard has been replaced with a new dark keyboard. You can create a text message or open the Notes app to check the new keyboard theme.
What I really liked about Bloard is that it does affect the performance of your device, is available for free and does not require Winterboard to apply a dark theme. So if you do not like the lighter keyboard there is no reason why you should not install Bloard.
UPDATE: The tweak has been updated with a settings page. Now you can enable/disable the dark keyboard at your will.
